Governor Jay Inslee, Hyogo Prefecture Governor Toshizo Ido, and other officials attend a ceremonial tree planting to memorialize the 50th Anniversary “sister state” relationship between Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and Washington State. The magnolia tree was planted near a 45-foot tall Japanese cypress which was planted to mark the 30th anniversary.
